- The good news is that Aidha has just been approved as an IPC (Institution of Public Character)!
What it means for the Bike Ride is that any cash donation you make to Aidha will receive a tax deduction of 300% (normally 250% but the government has increased this to 300% till Dec 2015 because it’s SG50!) . So, for example, if you donate $100, your tax deduction will be $300! Doing good will benefit both you and Aidha!
- Registrations WILL CLOSE TODAY, 30 April 2015 at 10PM! If you still haven’t signed up, DO IT NOW ! You can also be part of the event as a fundraiser or volunteer! 🙂 Just email email@example.com and someone will get in touch with you regarding your interest.
- A compulsory Briefing Session for all participants will be held on Monday 4 May at 6:30pm at Barclays, MBFC Tower 2.
This is to explain the safety arrangements for the event and of course, to collect your race packs containing your jersey, route maps, contact numbers, timing slots, and cool discount vouchers!
- Finally, this was the scene for over 30 supporters who enjoyed the unique, chilled-out yoga session two weeks ago at the Marina Barrage!
The cool breeze on your face as you paused on a yoga position, freeze-framing the iconic skyline of Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay… Feeling good and doing good has never been easier! Our thanks go to rock star Aidha volunteer, Aurelie Dhellemmes, who arranged the session and to Alpha Balance, who brilliantly sponsored the yoga class!
We’re still halfway away from hitting our fundraising target of $100,000 to support 150 scholarships. So please support our riders. Reach out to your networks. And let them know that every dollar raised will go a long way in empowering foreign domestic workers to build sustainable futures for themselves.
